Data Policy
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit our website, by whom, and on what legal basis — in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Act (TDDDG).
1. Controller
The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
Reimann Architecture
Fährhausstraße 11
22085 Hamburg
E-Mail: info@reimann-architecture.com
2. What data we do NOT collect
We do not:
Use cookies of any kind (tracking, analytics, marketing, or functional)
Employ third-party analytics or tracking scripts (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)
Operate contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or user accounts
Collect, store, or process any personal data you actively submit
Because no cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is required.
3. Local Storage (technically essential)
This website uses the browser's localStorage exclusively for technically essential, functional purposes — for example, to remember your language or theme preference within a session. This storage:
Does not contain personally identifiable information
Is never transmitted to our servers or any third party
Is not used for profiling, tracking, or advertising
Falls under the "strictly necessary" exemption of Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive and § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG — no separate consent is required
You can clear localStorage at any time via your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Site data).
4. Hosting — Cloudflare Pages
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you visit any website, your browser automatically transmits certain technical data to the hosting server. Cloudflare processes the following data on our behalf:
IP address (anonymised / truncated by Cloudflare)
Date and time of the request
URL requested
HTTP status code, bytes transferred
Browser type and operating system (User-Agent string)
Referring URL (if applicable)
This processing is technically necessary to deliver the website and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure and available website). Cloudflare acts as our data processor under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Cloudflare has Binding Corporate Rules and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Transfers to the US are therefore covered by an adequacy mechanism pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. For details, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
Log data is retained for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted.
5. Content Management — Sanity CMS
The content displayed on this website is managed via Sanity, operated by Sanity AS, Strandveien 33, 1366 Lysaker, Norway.
Sanity is used exclusively as a headless CMS (content delivery back-end). Website visitors do not interact with Sanity directly; content is fetched server-side or at build time and served as static files via Cloudflare Pages. No visitor data is transmitted to Sanity.
Sanity acts as our data processor. Sanity is GDPR-compliant and processes data within the EU/EEA where possible. For details, see Sanity's Privacy Policy (https://www.sanity.io/legal/privacy).
6. Fonts — Google Fonts (Geist, self-hosted)
This website uses the Geist typeface. The font files are self-hosted on Cloudflare Pages — they are served directly from our domain and are not loaded from Google's servers at runtime.
As a result, no connection is made to Google's servers when you visit this website, and no IP address or other data is transmitted to Google. This approach was deliberately chosen to comply with GDPR and the ruling of the Munich Regional Court I (LG München I, 20 O 13601/20).
7. Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject in the EU/EEA you have the following rights:
Access to your personal data - Art. 15 GDPR
Rectification of inaccurate data - Art. 16 GDPR
Erasure ("right to be forgotten") - Art. 17 GDPR
Restriction of processing - Art. 18 GDPR
Data portability - Art. 20 GDPR
Objection to processing - Art. 21 GDPR
Because we collect virtually no personal data, most of these rights have no practical scope on our website. However, you may exercise any right at any time by contacting us at info@reimann-architecture.com
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page always shows when the policy was last revised. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
