Penthouse The Crown

It was a pleasure for me to shape spaces both conceptually and virtuously, to interpret the site artistically, and to curate in close connection with the client’s art collection. «

This penthouse merges Reimann Architecture’s signature spirit with the unique character of Hamburg’s Hafencity lighting tower, offering a contemporary and refined art of living. Sharp lines and precise structures contrast with sensual materials, creating the rhythm of this masterful creation - where material quality truly takes center stage.

The master bathroom is a singular triumph of craftsmanship and technology. Over three tons of marble, hewn from a single raw block exceeding 34 tons, greet each morning with a presence that evokes the raw power and sublime beauty of nature, a timeless testament to the Earth’s extraordinary force and story. «

The design concept is rooted in Zen philosophy - a heartfelt wish of the owners - and is expressed through clean lines, minimalist furnishings, and a soothing palette ranging from warm sand tones to jade and pure whites. A deep love of materials shapes every corner: Brač limestone, light oak, and carefully curated high-end products represent absolute quality, rarity, and irreproducible uniqueness.

Reduction is not an act of removal, but a deliberate act of refinement – a curated state in which material, structure, and tactility regain their inherent dignity. Essence shows itself through precision, not abundance. «

No Limits

The delivery of the room-length parquet floorboards manufactured in the german Allgäu region has been truly a spectacle - Hamburg port scenery and the concert hall Elbphilharmonie as one of the cities landmarks in the background. Craftsmen worked hand in hand to make the delivery of the 12-meter-long boards into the penthouse possible. The room-length planks in knot-free grading and individually light-oiled oak further enlarge the open, light-flooded rooms visually.
